BendMark support

An offline conduit bending calculator for electricians. Stand at the bender, enter two numbers, get the distance from the end of the pipe to every mark.

Getting in touch

Write to oguzhancart1@gmail.com. One person reads it, so plain words beat a bug report form.

If a calculation looks wrong, the most useful thing you can send is four things: the bend type, your bender head and conduit size, the figures you entered, and what the app answered. That is enough to reproduce it exactly.

A bender head you would like added, or a language you would like the app in, is worth asking for. Both are cheap to do.

Common questions

Why does the app disagree with my multiplier table?
Because a bend does not happen at a point, it happens along an arc. The app works from your bender's real centreline radius. Where the two differ by more than a thirty-second it prints the shop table figure next to its own, so you can see the gap rather than wonder about it. You can switch to the multiplier table method on the Bender tab.
My stub comes out short.
Almost always the wrong bender head. Take-up belongs to the head you are holding, not to the pipe. Check the Bender tab, and if yours is not listed, choose Your own bender and type its figures in.
Where do the marks measure from?
From the end of the pipe to the arrow, by default. A powered bender or a saddle notch wants the centre of the bend instead. Switch it once on the Bender tab and every screen follows, including the step-by-step instructions.
The angle finder shows a dash.
It reads the accelerometer, so it needs a real device. On a simulator there is nothing to read. On a phone, lay it along the leg you have bent and press Zero on the flat leg first, so a sloping floor counts as nothing.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. That is the point. Every table ships inside the app and nothing is fetched, so a basement with no bars changes nothing.
Is there a subscription?
No. You pay once, and there is no purchase inside the app.
Which languages?
English, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Japanese, Korean and Arabic. The app follows your phone's language.

Before you cut

The app works out figures from what you type and from published trade tables. It cannot see your job. Check the result against the code where you work and against your own tape before you bend anything. The terms of use say the same in longer words.

Privacy

BendMark collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no advertising, no network connection at all. Your settings and saved runs stay on the phone and are deleted with the app.

The full policy, covering every app here, is on the privacy page.
