Practise talking to people with AI characters: chat,
voice calls, and a coach that tells you how it went. For adults.
Common questions
- Is anyone real on the other end?
- No. Every character is written by AI. That is the point: you can get
a conversation wrong, be turned down, and try again without hurting
anyone.
- Why won't a character take my call?
- They have to want to. Each character warms up or cools down with how
the conversation goes, and the bar under the chat shows how interested
they are. Send a friend request, get to know them, and ask when it
feels right. A date comes after the call, not before.
- Why was I blocked?
- Sexual messages, insults, or pushing for a call or a date right after
a "not yet" each earn a warning. The third warning ends it: that
character blocks you, and deleting the chat does not undo it. The
terms set out the rule.
- Where are my chats stored?
- On your phone. There is no account and no FirstHey server. To write a
reply, the recent conversation is sent to an AI service and not kept
by us — the privacy policy
lists exactly what goes.
- Does it work offline?
- You can read your chats, but a character needs the network to
answer.
- Which languages?
- The app is in eleven: English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish,
Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Hindi and Japanese, and
you can switch at any time. Each character speaks their own language.
- How do I cancel Premium?
- In Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your iPhone or
iPad. Premium stays on until the period you paid for ends.
- How do I delete everything?
- Profile → Sign Out, or delete the app. Both erase your profile,
chats and progress, and there is no other copy.
